The energy and movement of the ocean in Sea Glass No. 3 captures the immediacy and sensation of standing on the shore, taking in the salt air, and feeling the waves as they crash at your feet. This painting, like all the pieces in the Ocean Sky Series, is inspired by the California coast and is painted using molten wax, resin, and rich mineral pigments. Each layer fused into the last with a torch.
